The Matrix Companies, a workers' compensation claims and risk-management company, will open a new office next week in Dublin, Ohio, the company announced Wednesday.

The official opening at The Offices at Wilcox Place is set for Oct. 1, Matrix said. Plans call for the immediate hiring of seven workers, primarily claims representatives and client relations/sales specialists, with the addition of another eight employees projected over the next 12 to 18 months.

The Matrix Companies currently employs 45 workers, all of whom work out of the corporate headquarters in Cincinnati. The Dublin office will be the company's first expansion beyond the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region.

"This initiative will allow us to accommodate continued corporate growth and provides us with an important strategic base for delivering the highest levels of service and support to clients in Central and Northern Ohio," said Matrix Executive Vice President Dave Kiley.
